About the Role: We are looking for a Generative AI Engineer to join our innovative team at Gen AI. In this part-time, contract-based role, you will work on advancing our AI capabilities using LangChain, vector search, and Large Language Models (LLMs). If you are passionate about building intelligent applications that combine RAG pipelines with cutting-edge generative models like OpenAI, Qwen, and LLaMA, we d love to hear from you. This is a highly impactful role ideal for individuals with a strong background in NLP, ML, and AI research who want to build production-ready systems at the forefront of AI innovation. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct R&D on generative AI technologies like LLMs, LangChain, and vector search systems.
• Design and implement advanced RAG architectures and intelligent AI copilots.
• Build context-aware applications using LangChain (chains, retrievers, agents, memory modules).
• Develop and fine-tune prompts for LLMs (OpenAI, LLaMA, Qwen) to maximize performance and contextual accuracy.
• Implement and scale vector search systems (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch, FAISS, pgvector).
• Use tools like Textract for extracting data from unstructured content.
• Write modular, maintainable Python code for AI integration and orchestration.
• Collaborate across ML, Product, and Data teams to deploy end-to-end AI features.
• Stay up to date with research advancements and contribute to internal innovation through prototypes and experiments.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in Generative AI, NLP, and ML (3+ years industry/research)
• Proficiency in Python
• Hands-on expertise with LangChain and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Working knowledge of OpenAI, Qwen, LLaMA, and other LLMs
• Experience with vector search solutions (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch, pgvector)
• Familiarity with OCR tools like AWS Textract
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch

Preferred Qualifications:

• Research or publications in NLP / Generative AI
• Project portfolio, GitHub contributions, or GenAI demos
• Familiarity with LangSmith (LangChain observability and tracing)
• Knowledge of FastAPI, Flask, or REST APIs for LLM deployment
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, ML, or a related field
