Responsibilities

• Accurately build and stage orders based on pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucks

,

• Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation

,

• Use appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) to move product and materials from/to designated locations

,

• Adhere to procedures relating to product age, quality, and safety

,

• Meet productivity requirements

,

• Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

,

• Minimum 6 months of general work experience required

,

• Prior warehouse experience preferred

,

• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred

,

• Ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds

,

• Ability to reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach

,

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

,

• Ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance

,

• Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
