CDL Driver Merchandiser

Responsibilities
- Unload and transport products from the route truck to retail outlets.

- Merchandise and rotate all products inside the outlet to company standards.

- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays.
,
- Communicate any store-level issues to management.
,
- Comply with DOT rules for driving purposes.
,
- Safeguard company assets.
,
- Maintain rapport with customers.
,
- Maintain accurate truck inventory and monetary accountability.
,
- Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected/unsold merchandise.
,
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
,
- Class A CDL required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy.
,
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies.
,
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.

- Ability to read, write and speak English.
,
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines.

- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets.
,
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Must be able to operate a manual or motorized pallet jack.

- Must be able to drive a tandem-axle manual shift tractor.
,
- Ability to train all drivers on route responsibilities.
,
- Ability to coach on industry standards and terminologies.
,
- Ability to identify additional sales opportunities.
,
- Frequent standing, walking, vehicle operation and lifting up to 50 lbs.
