About the position The Central Selling Associate for Flooring at Lowe's is responsible for managing service requests and quotes related to flooring products. This remote position involves collaborating with stores and service providers to ensure accurate and timely communication regarding customer needs and project details. The role emphasizes customer service, efficient workflow management, and continuous improvement of the selling process.

Responsibilities

  • Works within system-based work queue to identify activities ready for review.

  • Obtains and verifies information related to service requests and communicates with others involved in the quoting process.

  • Responds to questions from Stores and Service Providers related to quote details and escalates issues when appropriate.

,

  • Adds product and promotional information to quotes and additional labor items as needed.

,

  • Completes quote refigures based on customer changes or new measurements.

,

  • Organizes work processes to ensure efficient workflow while collaborating with others.

,

  • Provides relevant and timely information to peers and leadership to support decisions and work activities.

,

  • Offers feedback to Supervisor regarding the centralized selling model and customer experience improvements.

,

  • Communicates advantages of Lowe's products and services to employees and customers.

,

  • Ensures customer service policies and procedures are executed effectively.

,

  • Follows up with customers to ensure order and project requirements are met.

,

  • Monitors order status and communicates updates or issues with customers and associates.

,

  • Enters, processes, and tracks customer orders and installations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

,

  • Up to one year of experience in a call center, office administrative, high volume retail, service support, or similar work environment.

,

  • Must obtain a salesperson license if required by state or local municipality within sixty days of starting employment.

,

  • Internet access with a minimum of 20mbps download and 5mbps upload speed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Experience in remodeling or construction industry.

,

  • Lowe's store experience.

,

  • Installed flooring sales experience.

,

  • Experience using MS Dynamics or similar CRM tool.
