What You’ll Do…

As a Part Time Relocation Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming the way clients relocate. Unlike a traditional local area expert, your expertise lies in mastering the relocation process itself—guiding high volumes of clients through complex, time-sensitive moves with efficiency, empathy, and confidence. You will help clients settle into unfamiliar cities, often ones you’re learning in real time, by proactively researching housing options, amenities, and local services. You’ll empower each client to navigate their relocation through confident communication, creative problem-solving, and the strategic use of the Relocity app—our central tool for tracking, managing, and streamlining the relocation experience.

How You’ll Do It…

  • Conduct Initial Consultations: Engage with clients to assess their relocation timelines, preferences, and goals to provide tailored, actionable support.
  • Drive Fast-Paced Relocation Support: Manage a high-volume, fast-turnover client roster with agility, meeting tight deadlines and ever-changing relocation needs.
  • Master Regional Research: Confidently support relocations in cities you may be unfamiliar with by leveraging technology, research skills, and internal resources.
  • Utilize the Relocity App: Introduce and guide clients through our proprietary app, ensuring they can access curated housing listings, schedule appointments, and track tasks—all in one place.
  • Guide Housing Searches: Conduct rental market research, analyze property options, and provide expert advice—regardless of your personal familiarity with the city.
  • Coordinate Key Logistics: Manage virtual and in-person appointments such as home tours, utility setup, and move-in inspections, often across multiple time zones.
  • Support Lease Review & Settling In: Help clients understand rental terms, neighborhood considerations, and critical relocation steps for a smooth landing.
  • Communicate with Confidence: Offer steady, proactive communication to build client trust—even when navigating uncertainty or tight timelines.
  • Adapt to Change: Rapidly learn new tools, platforms, and city data to meet evolving business and client needs.

What Past Experience and Current Skills Will Enable Your Success In This Role?

  • Relocation Expertise: Proven experience guiding clients through relocation processes—not just knowledge of a local area, but deep familiarity with the steps, challenges, and nuances of moving.
  • High-Volume Client Management: Ability to juggle multiple concurrent relocations with calmness, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Research and Tech Savvy: Strong ability to navigate unknown regions using digital tools, online research, and the Relocity platform to gain fast insights and deliver confident recommendations.
  • Client-Facing Communication: Exceptional virtual communication skills (written, verbal, and video) to establish rapport, set expectations, and resolve issues.
  • Problem Solver: Resourceful, composed, and action-oriented when unexpected situations arise—able to pivot quickly and keep clients moving forward.
  • Organized and Deadline-Driven: Comfortable balancing detailed logistics with big-picture client outcomes across many open cases at once.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiar with Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, and CRM tools. Ability to adopt new systems quickly.
  • Remote Work Ready: Effective at self-managing and thriving in a remote-first environment.

Education and/or Technology Requirement

  • Bachelor or Associate’s degree (or equivalent) preferred
  • Must have a laptop, smartphone, and reliable internet connection

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
