Job title: Customer Care Rep (Remote) in Effingham, IL at Patterson Companies Company: Patterson Companies Job description: Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Customer Care Representative will be a member of the team responsible for being the primary contact group for incoming customer and branch calls. This role will require frequent communication with customers, branch personnel, and Shared Services team members. Within this role, you will assist the customer or branch with their request if able, or will transfer the call within Shared Services for assistance. This position works frequently within SAP, so previous experience is helpful. Success will depend on having a “customer first” attitude, along with a willingness to learn new functions and positively contribute to team performance.Essential FunctionsProvide professional administrative and telephone support for incoming customer and branch phone calls to Financial Shared Services delivering first call resolution.Handle all general questions concerning statements or other correspondence received by the customer relating to supply accounts, installment accounts and branch inquiries.Update the automated credit card system for account changes accurately and in compliance with internal & PCI controls.Process customer credit card or electronic check payments by phone accurately and in compliance with internal & PCI controls.Act as liaison between branch offices and the Financial Shared Services.Performs other duties as assigned.Job QualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh School degree or equivalentStrong customer orientation with a sound knowledge of telephone etiquette with a pleasant and friendly attitude.Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional at building relationshipsPositively contribute to the Financial Shared Services team environmentHas exceptional organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills and shows a great attention to detailProficient in computer navigation and working with several software programs at the same timeDemonstrates a commitment to Patterson's values and professionalism through appropriate conduct at all timesPreferred QualificationsSAP experienceFinancial Services experienceHours: 10:00am -7:00pm CTStarting compensation: $15.19/hrThis role is eligible for hire in the following states: AL, AK, AR, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL (excluding Chicago), IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MA, MI, MN (excluding Minneapolis & St. Paul), MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA,WV, WI, WYThe potential compensation range for this role is below.
