Job Description

We are seeking a Remote Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to join our team. This critical role involves translating healthcare services into precise medical codes, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and upholding compliance with the latest insurance policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities

Submit claims to insurance carriers, ensuring adherence to relevant billing standards and regulatory requirements Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and initiate the necessary appeals processes Review patient billing records for completeness and accuracy Collaborate with healthcare providers, office staff, and insurance representatives to resolve discrepancies Ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations at all times Stay abreast of changes to medical coding guidelines, payer policies, and insurance regulations
