Project Specialist- Client Orders

This Project Specialist role involves participating in divisional kickoff and status calls throughout the project process to evaluate processes and assist with data alignment to permit proper billing to occur. The specialist will verify data received and conduct root cause assessment on issues and defects, then provide appropriate findings with a possible resolution. The position includes engaging in special projects while completing data tasks with minimal guidance. Projects span across multiple Labcorp functional areas and with external clients. Projects have significant impact on customer delight and claim success, thus requiring detail-oriented focus with a high degree of quality. Project status, issues and impacts will be maintained with current, accurate content, and concisely conveyed to key stakeholders and escalated as defined by SOPs.

The specialist will also develop and maintain process/documentation material that is easily understood by the intended audience.

Responsibilities

Analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to find trends and abnormalities in their environment

Detail oriented to identify and communicate issues that could negatively impact current and downstream processes with appropriate parties as well as to maintain integrity and quality of the outputs from assigned processes.

Composing email communications to various levels of colleagues in a clear and professional manner, providing process updates and alerts of potential process issues.

Adaptability: feel comfortable with a changing environment such as changing duties, priorities and SOPs

Maintain SOPs and provide input for improvements to the overall process. Publish, Archive, and back up all documents maintained for retention purposes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience required; preferably in a project or process-oriented role within healthcare environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office strongly preferred: specifically Microsoft Excel/Access and familiarity with utilizing macros and/or other tools. Pivot tables, charts & graphs are the primary means of communicating project updates.

• Labcorp RCM experience (preferred): The bulk of project support occurs within RCM, having familiarity with the tools and training in these areas will aid in communication of trends as they arise.

Pay Range: $16.80- 28.85/hr (State minimum wages apply if higher)

Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
