Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do Manage the creation of innovative and transformative solutions that address supply chain needs. Oversee the creation of effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business objectives. Manage engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Manage proposal development and oversee the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote supply chain knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel Required Nationally

Requirements Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Guiding business case analysis to understand opportunities for supply chain optimizations, and helping organizations deliver critical programs on the decisions of cost, schedule, performance, and risk, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel;
  • Participating in engagement planning and budgeting, utilizing MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
  • Guiding the Quality Assurance (QA) for client deliverables, including Project Charters, Metric and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Reports, and Communications Plan per business specifications and agreed timelines;
  • Coordinating day to day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers;
  • Working with project management frameworks, including Agile to help clients optimize and maintain applications to maximize Return on Investment (ROI); and
  • Guiding teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models, utilizing MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Other Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
