Job Summary Remote Medical Director must have a pc license in New York, must have Medicare and Medicaid contracts, and need to work around 2-3 hours a week , remotely

Duties

  • Lead and supervise clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to established medical standards.
  • Oversee utilization management processes to optimize patient outcomes and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare management to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular reviews of medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Facilitate clinical development initiatives, including research projects aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on complex clinical cases and support staff in decision-making processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in anatomy and healthcare practices to inform clinical strategies.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables related to clinical operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical standards, utilization management, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent supervisory skills, with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
  • Familiarity with medical records systems and compliance requirements.
