Job Summary/Basic FunctionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to assist with grading and student support for a university-level course. Key responsibilities include grading assignments, exams, and other course-related assessments based on provided rubrics and guidelines; responding promptly and professionally to student emails in Spanish; and attending occasional meetings with the instructor to discuss grading criteria, course updates, and student concerns. The role also involves providing constructive feedback to the instructor on recurring issues in student submissions. Ideal candidates will have strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish, familiarity with the course subject matter, and some experience using CanvasKey Responsibilities:
- Grade assignments, exams, and other course-related assessments according to provided rubrics and guidelines.
- Respond promptly and professionally to student emails, providing clear and accurate information or forwarding inquiries to the instructor when necessary.
- Attend biweekly/occasional meetings with the instructor to discuss grading criteria, course updates, and student concerns.
- Provide feedback to the instructor regarding common issues observed in student submissions.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities in Spanish.
- Familiarity with the course subject matter is preferred.
- Some knowledge of Canvas.
- Familiarity with online courses.
