Position Overview: Artemis is looking for a Clinical Research Unit (CRU) Research Assistant for the Clinical Research Unit in the San Diego location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the CRU Research Assistant is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of research participants, assisting with research-related duties, and with the daily living needs of the participants. Company Name: Artemis Institute for Clinical Research Title of Position: CRU Research Assistant Position Type: Part-time Pay Range: DOE Location: San Diego- no remote work Work Schedule: up to two 12 hour day shifts within a seven-day workweek Required Education and Experience: High School diploma Medical Assistant Accreditation preferred Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus Description of Responsibilities: Ensure safety and welfare of each research participant Check vital signs and record daily information in the participant’s chart Collect and perform basic laboratory tests to include urine pregnancy test and urine drug tests Draw blood samples Perform ECGs Maintain detailed and accurate documentation related to research participants Prepare daily meals and perform light housekeeping duties Assist with morning Sleep Lab procedures as applicable Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor Skills/Competencies: Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service Excellent professional communication, punctual and responsible Extremely well organized Excellent verbal and written communication skills Trustworthy, reliable, and attentive to detail Mature and pleasant demeanor Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company Commitment to being a Team Player How to Apply: Follow this link and then click “Apply for this job” Company Core Values:
