The data entry clerk will liaise with and follow up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect information. The data entry clerk will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You will identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary. This position is Part-time/full-time and will be done remotely. • Take part with work from home surveys / studies by following written and oral instructions.
• Scanning through information to identify relevant information.
• Correcting errors and organizing the information.
• Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
• Ensuring data is backed up.
• Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
• Handling additional duties from time to time.
• Accurately input data into company databases and software systems following established procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

• You must have a working camera on your smart phone or a webcam on your desktop / laptop.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of data confidentiality principles.
• Access to reliable internet connection and appropriate remote work setup.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in data entry will be a plus.
