Job Description: We are hiring a Remote Vision Support Teacher to work with K-12 students. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while providing essential education services to visually impaired students. Responsibilities: Â Conduct remote vision assessments. Â Develop accessible lesson plans and materials. Â Teach Braille, low vision strategies, and technology skills. Â Work closely with school staff to integrate supports into the curriculum. Â Report progress to parents and administrators regularly. Qualifications: Â Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education for the Visually Impaired from an accredited institution. Â Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI). Â Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with visual impairments, with remote teaching experience preferred. Â Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and orientation and mobility strategies. Â Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and collaborate with school teams remotely. Â Proficiency in using tele-education platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
