Job title: Chinese Immersion Teacher for the 2023/2024 School Year Company: Catalina Foothills School District Job description : Catalina Foothills School District seeks qualified applicants for the position of: Chinese Immersion Teacher - Elementary for our Tucson area location Full Time - 1.0 FTE Sunrise Drive Elementary School Responsibilities include instructing elementary students in Mandarin Chinese, using the knowledge of the Chinese and English languages (native-like proficiency in speaking, reading and writing); the knowledge of language development and the knowledge of instructional methods. The position requires: A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent (all fields are acceptable); An Arizona Elementary Education teaching certificate or an Arizona Early Childhood Education teaching certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education.
