We are in search of experienced Legal/Judicial contract professionals with a strong background in transcribing depositions and hearings. This role offers a fully remote opportunity for Independent Contractors. Key Responsibilities • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. • Process audio recordings while adhering closely to established style guides to produce verbatim transcripts. • Ensure the highest standards of attention to detail and accuracy. Required Skills • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. • Exceptional listening skills and adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides. • Strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar. • Proficient typing skills with a focus on both speed and accuracy. • Ability to handle challenging audio/text content. • Familiarity with legal terminology is essential. • Ability to effectively collaborate in a remote environment. • Capability to pass a background check. Qualifications • Significant experience in legal transcription or a related field is required. • Court reporting students are welcome to apply. • Note: This opportunity is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.
