Job Summary: Join Ditch Witch in a dynamic role contributing to the manufacturing process of underground construction equipment. Operate various production machines, ensuring high-quality output and supporting the production team... Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate production machinery including lathes, mills, drills, saws, welders, and more. • Read and interpret blueprints to set up, adjust, and operate equipment according to specifications. • Conduct mechanical assembly of components using hand and air tools. • Inspect parts for quality using measuring tools and address any defects. • Perform basic operator maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and prevent downtime. • Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking and production records. • Provide input for troubleshooting and problem-solving to optimize production processes. Qualifications and Experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. • 18 to 36 months of relevant experience required, with welding or mechanical repair experience preferred. • Familiarity with SAP system desirable. • Strong reading, clerical, and basic math skills required. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and transition between tasks efficiently.
