Job Description: Store Sales Specialist Purpose: Floor & Decor values its Sales Associates for their role in ensuring that customers leave the store feeling satisfied with their purchases and overall shopping experience. Both full-time and part-time jobs are available for interested applicants. Desirable traits: • Friendly and enthusiastic • Entrepreneurial and hard-working • Honest and accountable • Excellent communication and attentive listening proficiencies Essential Job Functions: • Establish contact with customers, inquire regarding their projects, suggest goods, and stimulate enthusiasm about sales. • Offer incomparable customer service that exceeds customer satisfaction. • Our objective is to preserve the assigned areas in a constant state of being fully stocked, tidy, and hazard-free, allowing for a comfortable shopping atmosphere. • Collaborate effectively with managers and teammates to meet sales quotas. • Handle customer transactions using the POS system. • Perform customer returns and exchanges using the company's established guidelines. • Maintain the prescribed procedures for accepting payments through cash, checks, or credit cards. • Make price labels and promotional banners, supervise inventory, label and showcase products. • Observe the primary convictions that characterize the company's mission. • Show and verify implementation of company safety protocols. • Handle telephone conversations by conforming to the company's approved strategies. • Respond to calls for assistance in different areas of the store. • Thrive in a fast-acting setup with attention to detail. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: • To be considered, one must have attained the age of 18 years or older. • Proficiency in elementary math skills is vital in many professions, including finance, engineering, and science. • Familiarity with customer service responsibilities. • Being skilled at multitasking and performing at a high level even in demanding situations. • Forklift certification via F&D could be a necessary criterion for specific job roles. • Heavy equipment certification requires a drug test to be cleared as per the laws in place in certain states. Physical/Sensory Requirements: • Moving and manipulating objects necessitate the application of force, which must range from 30 to 60 pounds occasionally or 20 to 30 pounds frequently. • Routine activities involve the frequent use of hands and fingers to handle various objects. • A job that necessitates prolonged standing, walking, and balancing while performing tasks.
