This role is analysis and governance centric; standardizing and cleansing data solutions/building related models, which are then handed to governance, developers, engineers, and DBAs to implement. Skill sets needed: • Be responsible for performing data analysis which includes inspecting, profiling, transforming with the goal of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision making • Perform data analysis on source data to ensure target data model design will meet requirements. Knowledge of the process of sourcing data and cleansing techniques. • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) with a focus on data analysis, data structures and data modeling. • Experience in data analysis, data clean up, using related analytical tools and programming languages. Extensive experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues. • Knowledge of various data structures and the ability to visualize data standards. Data warehousing, data cleaning, and other analytical techniques required for data usage. • Solid understanding of different OLTP/transactional database platforms (e.g. DB2, Oracle, Posgresql, NoSQL). • Solid experience with data design, from requirements analysis to conceptual, logical and physical data model designs for OLTP applications is a requirement. • Demonstrable experience with data modeling tools (e.g. SAP Power Designer or Erwin) is a must. • Experience working in an Agile development and project management environment.
