About the position The Guest Service Agent at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest service and ensuring financial profitability for the hotel. This position involves greeting and registering guests, checking them out, and creating memorable experiences for visitors at this family-friendly property connected to Disney Springs®. Responsibilities  Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer. ,  Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for and processing payments. ,  Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, and local area attractions. ,  Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy. ,  Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner. ,  Field guest complaints and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction. Requirements  Previous hotel front desk experience at a comparable property size. ,  Passion for customer care and creating memorable guest experiences. ,  Ability to work flexible shifts, primarily PM shifts. Nice-to-haves  Experience with point-of-sale systems. ,  Knowledge of local attractions and amenities.
