Job Overview We are in search of a meticulous and driven Program Associate to join our Teaching, Learning, and Tech (TLT) program within the Education Policy sector. Key Responsibilities As a Program Associate, your contributions will be crucial in assisting senior staff across various tasks, including: • Managing the summer internship program that connects post-secondary students with nonprofit organizations focused on public interest technology. • Analyzing and synthesizing research, conducting interviews, and facilitating roundtable discussions with educators, practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to pinpoint challenges and opportunities in education. • Crafting policy recommendations aimed at promoting best practices and systemic changes to guarantee all students experience meaningful teaching and learning. • Developing tailored resources and support for educators and professionals to bridge the digital divide impacting students and families. • Organizing networks of stakeholders from local, state, and national levels to collaboratively address challenges and strategies for enhancing access to quality teaching and learning. • Identifying and showcasing effective technology applications for young learners in diverse educational settings. • Assisting in the planning and execution of roundtables and stakeholder meetings, as well as external events as necessary. • Conducting supplementary research and contributing to the creation of blogs and briefs. • Managing the reimbursement process for stakeholder participants and senior staff when suitable. • Remaining adaptable to perform additional duties as required by evolving circumstances.
