The company is looking for a motivated Perl Software Engineer to work with our in-house team. Prior experience with web-based software as well as cloud-based architecture is a plus. Candidates with strong coding principles will get top consideration. This position requires the capability to work on multiple projects independently with a positive attitude. This will be an fully remote contract opportunity. Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or significant related industry experience  7+ years of application development experience in Perl  Hands-on technical experience with Apple Pay  Demonstrate solutions by developing code, documentation, and test plans  Experience with a variety of web frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Bootstrap, Angular, React, etc.)  A strong command of SQL and database technologies  Excellent understanding of software design, architecture, and programming principles  Be a persistent, creative problem solver  Self-starter with strong self-management and decision-making skills  A solid sense of ownership and teamwork  Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills:  eCommerce development experience implementing large scale web services  Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)  Experience working with various programming languages  Exposure to Elastic Search or similar platforms is a plus  Prior experience working in an agile/lean environment Apply Job!Â
