Pay Rates: Associates: $29.00 per hour (minimum of 20 hours per week) Weekend Only Associates $31.00 per hour (minimum of 10 hours per week) Credentialed Experts: $32.00 per hour (minimum of 20 hours per week) Weekend Only Experts $34.00 per hour (minimum of 10 hours per week) Opportunity Highlights: • Flexible schedules - Wide range of shifts, including weekends and evenings • 100% Remote work (U.S.) • Work mid-January through April 16, 2025 averaging 20 - 30 hours a week • Growth potential An active PTIN and a dedicated hardwired Ethernet connection are required. Additional Requirements: • 2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software in a professional/retail setting. • Strong technical skills and ability to navigate computer systems and software including Professional tax software, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel), Slack, Timekeeping solutions, etc. • A dedicated workspace with a hard-wired Ethernet connection and personal computer for administrative responsibilities. (No Satellite or Wi-Fi providers.) • To qualify as a Credentialed Expert, you must be an EA, CPA or practicing attorney with a tax focus. On a Typical Day, you will: • Provide superior customer support via video, phone, and chat, helping customers work on their returns. On one call, you may be navigating software or network connectivity issues; the next could be researching and answering complex tax questions or assisting with preparing returns. • Create an excellent customer experience using your expertise in tax preparation and technical ability. A script will help guide your responses. • Resolve customer problems in a friendly and timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction. • Carefully document all customer interactions.
