Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR) – Lead Generation Expert for Home Services Platform Job Description: We are Lynx, a fast-growing startup revolutionizing the home services industry by connecting customers with reliable, vetted service providers. We’re launching in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive our initial growth by onboarding top-quality service providers. As our first BDR, you will play a crucial role in refining our outreach process and onboarding strategy. Once the system is proven in DFW, this process will be scaled to other large markets in Texas and eventually nationwide. You will be instrumental in documenting and teaching the process to new hires as we expand. Key Responsibilities: • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential service providers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. • Outreach: Conduct cold calls, send cold emails, and leverage platforms like LinkedIn to connect with prospects. • Pitching: Communicate the value of Lynx to service providers, emphasizing benefits such as access to real jobs (not just leads), no commission fees, and tools for success. • CRM Management: Input leads and track outreach efforts in Zoho CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. • Follow-Up: Build relationships with prospects through consistent follow-ups to maximize conversions. • Onboarding Support: Guide service providers through the onboarding process, ensuring they meet all platform requirements (e.g., licenses, insurance, certifications). • Process Refinement: Work closely with leadership to refine and document the outreach and onboarding process for scalability. Requirements: • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (experience in a startup or SaaS environment is a plus). • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Strong ability to pitch a platform to prospective clients and handle objections with confidence. • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho) and outreach automation tools. • Highly organized, with attention to detail for managing leads and follow-ups. • Self-starter mentality with a high level of motivation, adaptability, and eagerness to grow with a startup. • Interest in contributing to a scalable business model that has plans for rapid nationwide expansion. • Knowledge of the home services industry (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) is a bonus but not required.
