Job title: Adjunct Faculty, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Company: Antioch University Job description : Position Classification: Part-time Start date: Summer 2023, Fall 2023 Antioch University New England (AUNE) invites applications for Adjunct Faculty to join our progressive Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program. While the CMHC program is offered in two platforms - one that is predominantly a hybrid weekend platform for regionally located students, and one that is a low residency platform with online course work, this position is specifically for the weekend platform with each course requiring two face-to-face weekends (9 AM ? 5 PM Saturday and Sunday) on the Keene, NH, campus. The Adjunct Faculty will teach a course load of one to three classes in the Fall semester and one to three classes in the Spring semester (and, thus, a commitment of two weekends on campus per class). Courses may include Foundational Theories of Counseling, Group Counseling, Research and Evaluation in Counseling, Social Cultural Diversity, Practicum, Internship, Diagnosis and Treatment, Issues in Addictions Counseling, among others. The CMHC Program is a CACREP-accredited program that is part of Antioch University New England in Keene, NH. We offer concentrations in both Trauma and Addictions Counseling. The CMHC program at AUNE is committed to experiential learning, social justice, extensive clinical training, scholarship, and the use of creative, progressive and applied approaches. AUNE has been educating counselors for over 40 years and has a network of alumni throughout New England, and the country, who serve as many of our field supervisors and employers. Educational and Experiential Requirements and Qualifications Education: An earned doctorate in counselor education and supervision (CACREP-accredited program preferred)l is preferred; a Masters degree from a CACREP accredited program and 5+ years of clinical experience will be considered, Experience Clinical: professional counselor credentials (e.g., NCC or state licensure), at least two years of professional clinical experience, and Experience Academic: graduate teaching experience preferred.
