Job title: Early Childhood Teacher Long-Term Substitute Company: Southeast Service Cooperative Job description : Job Title: 1.0 FTE Long-term Substitute Early Childhood Teacher - McKinley Center Job Description: A 1.0 FTE Long-term Substitute Early Childhood teacher position for Falcon?s Nest Preschool, a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten site at McKinley Center. Qualified candidates will offer a developmentally appropriate learning environment, with the focus on cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy, and physical/motor development of students. This teacher will also work with a classroom paraprofessional to create a warm welcoming environment for parents and children. The position is 5 days a week from 7:30AM-3:30PM. This position commences on November 27, 2023 to approximately February 4th, 2024. Falcon's Nest Preschool is a part of the Minnesota Centers of Excellence Pyramid Model Innovation Grant. Applicants with knowledge and experience in a multi-tiered system of support for young learners are preferred. Qualifications: Early Childhood Education License required; ability to work with young children in a team setting required; 2+ years experience preferred; experience working with a diverse population and special needs helpful. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
