Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM PST (Pacific hours) Employment: Full-time, remote employee position Compensation: $20 - $22/hour (paid bi-weekly) Equipment: Equipment is not provided; candidates must supply their own.

Position Purpose

The Account Adjustment Specialist plays a key role in managing incoming inquiries and requests for account adjustments from insureds, brokers, and our internal contact center. This includes handling returned checks, credit card chargebacks, correspondence, and issues identified during internal audits.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process account adjustments in the Premium Billing System (PBS) with accuracy.
  • Validate the accuracy of new account entries.
  • Conduct daily internal audits to ensure timely and accurate funding and refunds.
  • Handle returned checks, chargebacks, and payment exceptions.
  • Answer calls and process emails during peak times to maintain customer service standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Email Processing: Ensure all department emails are processed daily.
  • Task Handling: Track and optimize task completion to improve productivity.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of related experience (insurance or insurance financing experience is a plus).
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency with relevant software.
