Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations, playbooks, and automations to enhance security operations and incident response capabilities.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions to automate security processes.
• Collaborate with security analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations and automations.
• Contribute to improving the overall platform architecture and performance, including the design and implementation of new features and functionalities.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications

Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)

• 3+ years of Python development experience
• 3+ years of experience in OOP and Restful APIs
• 3+ years of experience in Gitlab CI/CD. Experience with building and managing automated pipelines for software deployments.
• 2+ years of experience in Server Administration. Running command-line interface (CLI) commands on servers to efficiently troubleshoot application or connectivity.
• Strongly knowledgeable of Linux Operating Systems

Complementary Competencies (Good-to-have Competencies)

• Familiarity with SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminologies.
• Solid grasp of networking principles and firewall technologies.
• Experience with mob programming practices.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Understanding of containerization concepts and tools such as Docker, and their role in application deployment and management.

Educational Qualification/s

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
