Senior Full Stack (Python/React) Developer
About Us: Artera is an AI startup that develops medical artificial intelligence tests to personalize therapy for cancer patients. Artera is on a mission to personalize medical decisions for patients and physicians on a global scale.As a Full Stack Engineer at Artera, you’ll develop web applications used by clinicians to make better decisions for cancer treatment. You’ll be responsible for the whole stack: front-end, back-end, and infrastructure development as you work closely with fellow full-stack engineers, machine learning engineers, platform engineers, and product team members to develop platforms serving an increasing number of cancer tests serving new cancer areas and countries.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the backend and frontend for Artera’s Distribution Platforms which use AI to provide clinical decision support to oncologists
- Work closely with members of our Product, AI and Clinical Development teams to understand the needs of different stakeholders and develop platforms and features to
- Conduct code reviews and maintain a high bar for code testability, scalability, and maintainability across our codebase.
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of Python experience
- 2+ years of React experience
- Experience with Python web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc)
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Growth mindset and a strong sense of ownership
Desired:
- Experience with AWS, ECS, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Typescript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis
- Experience working with health care data
- Experience working with OAuth 2.0
- Knowledge of flutter or willingness to learn the basics
- Eastern or Central time zone
