We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Esports Betting Editor. In this role, you will drive the creation of high-quality, SEO-focused content across the esports betting vertical. This includes evergreen guides, odds explainers, betting strategies, and timely features tied to major tournaments and titles like CS2, Dota 2, and League of Legends.
Responsibilities:
Commission, brief, and edit a high volume of esports betting content across key titles and tournaments.
Write and/or update content as needed, including guides, predictions, and timely betting features.
Spot content gaps and opportunities using SEO tools and performance data.
Build and manage a network of freelance writers with expertise in esports and/or betting.
Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and compliant with relevant betting regulations.
Stay on top of esports and betting trends, tournament calendars, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
Must be based in a European time zone (GMT - GMT +4).
Proven experience editing and commissioning content in esports, sports betting, or online gambling.
Strong knowledge of esports betting markets (e.g., CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends) and how odds, markets, and events work.
Excellent editorial judgment with the ability to shape, refine, and elevate content.
Solid grasp of SEO best practices and how they apply to evergreen and topical content.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and contributors.
Skilled at providing clear, constructive feedback to writers and freelancers.
Understanding of gambling regulations and responsible gambling principles.
Experience working in a fast-paced, digital publishing environment.
