Program Manager - Channel Operations

Our new program is set to enable, invent, and reward our best partners. In that spirit, we are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager - Channel Operations with experience in partner programs to join our channel team. This role will focus on administering and executing core channel program components, will provide ongoing, in-depth analysis and recommendations to improve effectiveness, and will aid in partner communications, program roll-out, and overall program improvement.

The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining partner relationships and should understand key components of effective channel programs. This individual should have experience with back-end CRM systems such as Salesforce and will create ad-hoc reports and provide effective data analysis to ascertain program impact.

This role will be hybrid role with in-office presence at least 2 days per week in our Cork office, Ireland location, with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive oversight of our Marketing Development Fund (MDF) program, to include execution, analysis and improvement.

  • Managing our back-end partner rewards program (Value Incentive Program or VIP) to include setting revenue targets, communication to partners, tracking revenue attainment, executing payment, and recommending improvements.

  • Helping to monitor usage of our new Portal / PRM solution, analyzing the effectiveness of the collateral content, dashboards, tools, integrations and core components such as Deal Registration to ensure the best experience to provide our partners with a comprehensive solution that promotes self-sufficiency.

  • Tracking Partner Compliance tied to our program levels/tiers, communicating compliance status to partners and working with them to promote a positive outcome, re-leveling partners as necessary.

  • Performing on-going analysis of training module relevance by communicating with partners, analyzing compliance trends and seeking feedback on overall training (and program) effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in the IT industry working for an integrator, manufacturer, or distributor.

  • Proven track record of working within multi-tiered sales channels (manufacturer – distributor – reseller – customer).

  • A high attention to detail and ability to thrive in high-intensity sales organizations.

  • Strong business acumen to advise NETGEAR Sales and Channel leadership on optimizing Partner Success Program effectiveness.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Self-starter with ambition and pride in business success.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Tableau.

Physical Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
