What we're looking for

Rain is seeking a highly accountable, imaginative Brand Designer to join our Growth team in NYC. You’ll bring our recently evolved visual identity to life across a range of external campaigns and internal moments—ensuring every Rain touchpoint feels consistent, considered, and memorable. Reporting to the Marketing Lead and collaborating closely with our Lead Product Designer, you’ll help shape the creative execution behind our industry presence, growth campaigns, and strategic communications.

What you'll do

  • Create on-brand assets for campaigns across email, social, web, events, and paid channels.

  • Design Rain’s presence at industry events—from booths and signage to pre/post comms.

  • Craft visually compelling decks, one-pagers, and partner materials in collaboration with BD.

  • Support internal brand expression across board decks, merch, office environments, and templates.

  • Pitch creative ideas and visual experiments to evolve how Rain shows up in the world.

What you'll bring to Rain

  • 3–8 years of brand design experience, ideally in B2B companies or agencies.

  • An exceptional online portfolio that demonstrates visual storytelling across campaigns, events, and collateral, including the use of 3D assets and graphics.

  • A strong sense of ownership and ability to deliver final assets with minimal oversight.

  • Skilled at executing within established brand systems, and extending them when needed.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and excited to work with cross-functional teams.

  • AI-native, with the taste to know when handcrafted beats autogenerated.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communications, or related field.

  • Located in NYC and able to work regularly from our SoHo office.

Desirable but not mandatory

  • Experience at fintech, SaaS, or startup environments.

  • Bonus if you bring skills in motion design or lightweight web animation.

Compensation will vary based on experience from $75,000-$150,000
