Account Director II - Federal
We're looking for an Account Director II - Federal to join our DoD Sales team. The role is focused on the Department of Defense Health and Research Agencies customer module, where Lumen holds several existing contracts and decades-long relationships. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industry-specific sales experience, knowledge of Defense Health Agencies and DOD Research/procurement policies, and the ability to articulate Telecommunications and Network Solutions competitors, landscape, and industry trends within the Department of Defense.
Requirements
- 5+ years industry specific sales experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape
- Training and experience in consultative sales techniques
- Exceptional written/verbal communications skills, presentation skills, organizational time management skills, and display a strong customer-facing, sales and marketing, and presentation skills
- Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
