Job Description Title Support Analyst Business Unit CLTEXP Dept Support and Data Services Reports to Manager, Product Support Location Remote Job Code Direct Reports No FLSA Status Exempt Updated January 2025 About the Role Impact you will make As a Support Analyst, you will be working with a group of highly talented and motivated colleagues with significant healthcare experience who strive for operational excellence with a customer driven operational model. EDI optimization is a functional pillar within the value chain of the Insurance Discover platform. EDI utilizes millions of 270/271 transactions daily to interface with various Government and Commercial health insurance entities. As a member of this team, you will provide operational support for the EDI process. While engaging with the day-to-day functions of this complex system, you will coordinate with the Product and Development teams to drive improvements that maximize value for our customers and scale the EDI system to support the growing breadth and depth of our business. You will develop a functional knowledge of the entire Insurance Discover platform, its capabilities, customer expectations, and product lifecycle. You will support various stakeholders and will become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on operational aspects of the EDI function. With FinThrive, you’ll be part of a cutting-edge collaborative international team, gaining exposure to diverse skillsets, fresh experiences, and plenty of career growth opportunities What you will do Develop expert knowledge of the product lifecycle for Insurance Discover Monitor and analyze indicators and identify risks and opportunities for the health of the system Utilize system configurations and customizations to optimize the EDI system Use analytics to support the EDI Optimization objectives of maximizing Efficiency, Accuracy, and Yield Triage and resolve EDI incidents and facilitate solution on complex matters Provide data-driven enhancement recommendations and guidance to support product performance Evaluate and monitor the quality of data received from internal or external clients and drive business decisions to enhance the identification for increased recoveries and revenue Innovate new ways to monitor internal mappings, data file issues, and current inventory What you will bring Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Computer Science, Finance, Math, or Statistics) Experience in a data analysis, data analytics, data analyst, or business intelligence role Hands-on experience using SQL (T-SQL preferred,) creating and modifying stored procedure scripts Demonstrated experience using problem solving skills to resolve data issues and optimize information systems Individual must be self-motivated and able to work independently on multiple tasks and projects at any one time Proven experience with high level analysis projects and able to present results to technical and non-technical stake holders Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams What we would like to see Experience within Healthcare Insurance or Healthcare Technology Understanding of EDI (270/271; 837/835) transactions Self-sufficient and motivated to obtain the skills or knowledge necessary to accomplish complex tasks Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities Experienced at leveraging data analysis and visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, SSRS, Excel) About FinThrive FinThrive is advancing the healthcare economy.
