Job Title: Data Analyst (with experience in digital product development) Compensation: $3,500- 4,500/month, (salary depending on experience) Location: Remote, LATAM Working hours: 9-5pm PST

About the Company: Our client is a neuroscience-based technology company dedicated to revolutionizing health behavior change through a positive, iterative approach to habit formation. Their technology empowers individuals to test-drive evidence-based healthy habits, removing the guesswork and fostering an "unstoppable" mindset where "no fail, only practice and iteration." As a 100% remote team with headquarters on a retreat in the Santa Cruz mountains, Fresh Tri cultivates an inclusive work culture that prioritizes belonging, personal growth, and continuous learning.

About the Role

We're looking for a talented and curious Data Analyst to join our remote team as a contractor. In this role, you'll be key to informing our product development and behavioral interventions through deep data analysis. You'll dive into user behavior patterns, product performance, and optimization opportunities, helping us iterate our way to better health outcomes for our users. This is a fantastic chance to make a meaningful impact and grow within a supportive, innovation-driven environment.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with our Product team to inform feature development and behavioral interventions through data analysis.

  • Design hypotheses, run experiments, and analyze results to support iterative product improvements.

  • Conduct exploratory and statistical analyses to uncover user behavior patterns, performance trends, and optimization opportunities.

  • Build and maintain Mixpanel dashboards to track user behavior and product performance.

  • Define and validate Mixpanel event tracking requirements; review application code to troubleshoot tracking issues.

  • Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data from internal databases and Snowflake.

  • Develop Python scripts for complex data processing, automation, and statistical analysis.

  • Build and maintain Fresh Tri’s Snowflake data warehouse, including integrating new data sources and optimizing schemas.

  • Create and maintain visualizations in Snowflake or other BI tools to communicate insights across teams.

  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure data quality and seamless integration across systems.

  • Conduct qualitative user research (e.g., interviews) to complement quantitative findings.

  • Support academic & business reporting with actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Prepare methods and results sections for research manuscripts.

  • Support outcome reporting and perform advanced statistical testing for ad hoc requests.

  • Lead and contribute to grant-funded projects and applications.

  • Design and execute statistical analysis plans aligned with research and business goals.

  • Merge and clean data in statistical software for analysis.

  • Conduct literature reviews and support business analysis for existing clients and in support of commercial efforts.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a Product Analyst, Growth Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role supporting digital product development.

  • Strong working knowledge of Mixpanel, including dashboard creation, event taxonomy, and tracking validation.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience querying both structured and unstructured data.

  • Experience writing Python for data manipulation, analysis, or automation.

  • Familiarity with Snowflake, including managing data pipelines, adding data sources, and maintaining visualizations.

  • Understanding of statistical analysis, including experiment design, significance testing, and regression modeling.

  • Comfort reading and understanding application code to troubleshoot analytics issues (e.g., instrumentation/debugging Mixpanel tracking).

  • Experience with Google Analytics, A/B testing frameworks, and product experimentation is a plus.

  • A BA/BS degree in a technical, quantitative, or behavioral science field is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills — you can distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for a non-technical audience.

  • A natural curiosity, collaborative spirit, and a drive to make a meaningful impact through your work.
