Senior Design System Designer

We're looking for a Design System Lead to drive the next phase of growth for InPost Group’s global design system. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for an experienced UI designer who understands the complexities of scaling a multi-brand, multi-platform system across a large, international digital product ecosystem. 

You will take ownership of the system’s evolution—auditing its current state, setting a future vision, and delivering high-quality components and standards that support our suite of mobile and web applications for consumers, logistics operators, and business partners. 

Your Responsibilities

• Audit the maturity, consistency, and scalability of the current design system (already in an advanced state). 
• Define a strategy for evolving the system in partnership with a dedicated Design System PM—this includes proposing changes to the structure of libraries, contribution models, documentation, and change management processes. 
• Ensure the system is scalable across multiple brands, languages, and markets. 
• Adapt and scale component libraries for a wide range of mobile and web products—used by end customers, logistics staff, and external partners. 
• Ensure support across multiple technologies including iOS, Android, React, and Angular. 
• Design and build new components hands-on; provide guidance and support to product designers contributing to the system. 
• Collaborate closely with the Design System PM and cross-functional teams (mobile and web developers, designers). 
• Develop, maintain, and evolve design documentation. 
• Ensure accessibility and inclusive design standards are embedded into the system. 
• Define and integrate motion design patterns within components. 
• Act as an ambassador for the design system—drive internal adoption through communication, onboarding, training, and evangelism.
• Define and track success metrics to measure adoption and maturity across the organization. 

• Proven experience leading the creation and scaling of an enterprise-class design system from scratch in a large, global organization with a diverse product landscape. 
• Deep understanding of design tokens, component architecture, documentation best practices, and contribution workflows. 
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate between design and engineering teams in a complex organizational environment. 
• Experience working with metrics and KPIs for tracking design system usage and impact. 
• Hands-on UI design experience with strong attention to detail, visual consistency, and interaction design. 
• Fluent English and Polish language
