Senior Privacy Manager, Privacy - Remote Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Privacy Manager to join our Privacy team at Airbnb. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing our privacy policies and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving a culture of privacy advocacy across the organization.

About the Role

In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to embed privacy into the day-to-day operations of our business, provide decision support and guidance, and identify and mitigate potential risks. You will also collaborate with privacy experts and business leaders to drive the integration of privacy into our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to ensure that privacy policies, processes, and approaches are embedded in the day-to-day operations of the business
• Provide decision support and guidance, including data gathering, advanced information analysis, and presenting well-considered recommendations to stakeholders
• Identify and help resolve privacy issues across stakeholders, consulting with the Privacy team and referring actions to subject matter experts as needed
• Recommend programs and initiatives that drive positive impact across business, operational, project, and technical activities
• Collaborate with privacy experts and business leaders to support the acceleration of privacy integration into the business
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks that impact the business and/or other areas of the privacy team and cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the privacy space, preferably in a global B2C technology company
• Excellent collaboration, partnership, and influencing skills, with the ability to work in a global environment across multiple locations and time zones
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication ability to interface with technical, operations, and business partners at all levels
• Proven ability to effectively translate complex policy and business requirements into actionable solutions
• Strong time management and prioritization capabilities, with a basic understanding of strategy development concepts and an interest in program management
