About the Role: As a Library Service Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for new employees, focusing on best practices in library operations. Your key responsibilities will include creating engaging video scripts, presentations, and manuals, as well as editing videos, narrating content, and managing day-to-day operations. You will also provide support and guidance to staff members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training programs for new employees, focusing on best practices in library operations
• Create engaging video scripts, presentations, and manuals to support training initiatives
• Edit videos, narrate content, and manage day-to-day operations, including email management and monthly statistics
• Provide support and guidance to staff members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
• Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• No experience required, but directly related professional experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-to-year basis
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Experience creating presentations and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Knowledge of video producing and editing, as well as strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
