We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinic Technician, Dialysis to join our team at Henry Ford Health System in Macomb, MI. As a Clinic Technician, Dialysis, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our interdisciplinary team in delivering exceptional dialysis services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients on an ongoing basis and communicate information to the appropriate team member
  • Provide direct care to patients on hemodialysis under the supervision of nursing staff
  • Respond to emergency situations and reinforce patient education
  • Document patient care and observations, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other departments, agencies, or service organizations to ensure seamless patient care
  • Demonstrate technical and task-oriented skills, including cannulation, machine setups, and disinfection
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and under nursing supervision

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Science preferred
  • Certification as a dialysis technician must be obtained within designated timelines and maintained in accordance with federal regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex and changing environment
