Remote Adjunct Faculty Opportunity: Shape the Future of Healthcare Professionals

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Adjunct Faculty member to teach our online Fundamental Medical Concepts (FMC) course. As a remote contractor, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, including our Salt Lake City location, and be part of a team that is dedicated to excellence in education and mentoring.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced educator with a strong background in medical concepts and a passion for teaching adult learners. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching assigned courses, preparing course materials, and guiding students through our Virtual Instructor Training Program. You will use our learning management system and virtual classroom platform to deliver engaging and interactive lessons, provide feedback and support to students, and maintain accurate records of enrollment and attendance.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and prepare course materials and lesson plans
• Use our learning management system and virtual classroom platform to deliver course content and interact with students
• Provide feedback and support to students, including timely responses to coaching questions
• Maintain accurate records of enrollment and attendance, assessments, and grades
• Encourage student feedback and use it to improve course delivery
• Act as a professional mentor and role model, demonstrating the benefits of AAPC membership, certification, and engagement

Requirements

• Current and valid AAPC Approved Instructor Certification or current LPN or RN designation
• Prior teaching experience, particularly in corporate training or online education
• Strong knowledge of medical concepts and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to respond to student inquiries in a timely manner
• Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning
