Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-bound and out-bound calls to support program requirements, including medication adherence, member outreach, and provider follow-up calls
  • Provide exceptional customer service, serving as a resource for internal and external customers
  • Complete calls and assignments, meeting productivity standards and deadlines
  • Review prescription claims documentation, collect and maintain eligibility information, and exhibit excellent phone and communication skills
  • Collaborate with internal staff and providers to resolve issues and improve patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of our pharmacy team

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Pharmacy Technician license or certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with 1+ year of administrative support experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently, with some supervision and direction from manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with certified medical assistant training or certification
  • Bilingual language proficiency (English/Spanish)
  • Experience with medication adherence measures, Salesforce documentation, and Rx Claim experience

  • Must have a dedicated workspace in your home, with a secure and reliable internet connection
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to UnitedHealth Group's telecommuter policy
