As a Personal Caregiver with Cornerstone Caregiving, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide personalized care and support to clients, including medication management, mobility assistance, and personal hygiene
  • Prepare nutritious meals and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life
  • Collaborate with our care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist clients with prescribed medication and medical appointments
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including light housekeeping and laundry
  • Offer companionship and social interaction, engaging in activities and conversations that promote clients' mental and emotional well-being

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1+ year of caregiving experience, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting
  • A genuine passion for helping others, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel to client locations, with a reliable means of transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality
