Senior Business Analyst - Capital One Shopping (Remote Eligible)

In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges, develop and test strategies, and drive implementation efforts. Your expertise in analysis, product development, marketing, and credit risk will help inform business decisions and drive results. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis to identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement, and develop strategic or tactical recommendations
• Perform modeling and analytics to inform new product and pricing strategies, and support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance, to drive business growth and improvement
• Develop and test hypotheses, create risk models, and monitor and analyze results to inform business decisions
• Lead implementation efforts, develop monitoring plans, and drive results-oriented solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
• At least 1 year of experience in analysis and SQL querying
• Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity, with a proven track record of decision-making and problem-solving based on analytics
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Results-oriented, with a focus on achieving short-term and long-term goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business or a quantitative field
• Experience in statistical model building, market research, and consulting
• 2+ years of experience in SQL querying, business analysis, and related fields

• Competitive salary range: $99,100 - $113,100 (Remote), $109,000 - $124,400 (McLean, VA)
