Remote Resource Security Chief - Wayfair (Brunswick, ME) - $30/Hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resource Security Chief to join our team at Wayfair, located near Brunswick, Maine. As a key member of our Store Administration group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our employees, customers, and store. This is a remote-based position with a competitive salary of $30/hour and an immediate start available.

Job Summary:

As a Resource Security Chief, you will be responsible for managing all Resource Security projects and initiatives within the store, including external theft prevention, internal theft detection, and safety protocols. You will work closely with local law enforcement, insurance experts, and other retailers to identify and prevent coordinated retail crime patterns. Additionally, you will provide support to the District Resource Protection Manager(s) by conducting awareness training, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement functional and benefit improvement strategies to drive business results
• Conduct ongoing product security training and ensure timely completion of certification programs
• Lead weekly data analysis to evaluate and address trends, providing insights to store management and DAPM
• Investigate and document internal and external theft, as well as other violations of law and company policy
• Proactively monitor controls and conduct local and remote surveillance to detect potential unscrupulous activity
• Ensure compliance with physical structure security, key control, and safety protocols
• Develop and maintain vendor and company certifications, staying informed on current OSHA regulations and ensuring store compliance
• Recruit, hire, and staff a team of professional and effective resource security colleagues
• Train all store partners and managers on company safety and security programs to ensure compliance

Requirements:

• 2+ years of resource protection experience
• 2+ years of management experience required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• WZ or CFI certification preferred
• Experience as a multi-unit or large box Resource Security manager required
• A flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, and some holidays) required
• Ability to form strong relationships with partners required
