Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to support the educational needs of offenders
- Monitor student progress, administer academic tests, and provide individualized support to ensure student success
- Collaborate with the Education Coordinator and HSE tester to arrange test dates and review student progress
- Evaluate teaching materials and lesson plans, recommending changes to improve educational outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to tutors, including evaluating their teaching ability and recommending training as needed

Requirements:
- A current, valid Louisiana Teacher's Certificate in an academic content area with an Adult Education endorsement
