Marketing Compliance Manager - The Walt Disney Studios

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Compliance Manager to join our Performance Marketing team at The Walt Disney Studios. As a key member of our Marketing Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our marketing practices are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will work closely with our legal team, cross-functional teams, and external partners to develop and implement compliance guidelines, negotiate contracts, and monitor data practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance guidelines, data governance policies, and legal contracts to support performance marketing data for theatrical or streaming title releases or other Disney brands and products.
  • Negotiate, review, and manage data, analytics, measurement, audience, advertising, and technology contracts with the Disney Entertainment Studio Content Marketing Legal Team.
  • Document and maintain guidelines for all ad platforms, measurement, and data partnerships.
  • Monitor and implement the legal contract prioritization queue and work cross-functionally with internal teams to understand data use cases and business requirements.
  • Partner with legal to aid in the planning and development of regulatory marketing compliance and build and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Manage and monitor audience data overlap, governance, and prioritization of audience segments across XLOBs and internal campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area, including Philosophy, Law, Government, Politics, History, Marketing, Business, Economics, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years working with legal, data governance, marketing compliance, digital marketing, or advertising media.
  • Understanding of the adtech ecosystem and experience with advertising technology (pixels) and digital data collection.
  • Experience and knowledge of privacy and data laws, such as GDPR, CCPA, VPPA.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Marketing Technology or Advertising Technology.
  • Experience with SmartSheets, AirTable, or ad platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, Innovid, LiveRamp, and DSPs.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data requirements.
  • Experience working with theatrical exhibitors.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $124,900 to $167,500 per year.
  • Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
