Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team at Workwarp as a Manager, Strategy and Operations - Fraud Prevention & Protection, and play a critical role in safeguarding our platform from fraudulent activities. As a strategic leader, you will develop and implement effective solutions to prevent fraud, protect our users, and ensure a seamless experience for our consumers, dashers, and merchants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Approach to Fraud Prevention: Establish and refine Workwarp's strategic approach to fraud prevention, working closely with cross-functional teams to protect our users from bad actors.
  • Analyze Fraud Vectors: Conduct end-to-end analysis of fraud vectors across our platform to identify and mitigate risks, and improve the experience of our good users.
  • Design and Implement Policies: Conceptualize, test, and implement policies that prevent bad actors from exploiting our platform while protecting our good users.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with product, engineering, machine learning, and analytics teams to establish goals and build systems that detect and prevent abuse.
  • Experimentation and Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data-driven decision-making to run tests, reduce fraud, and accelerate growth.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience leading large projects, achieving goals, and succeeding in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and expertise in Excel.
