Job Summary:

As a High-Dosage Tutoring Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide academic support to selected students in a classroom setting. You will deliver individualized and small group instruction, track student progress, and collaborate with educators to determine effective interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement targeted interventions
• Maintain required documentation of services provided (up to 19 hours/week)
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
• Support the Lamar County School District's mission and values
• Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Passing scores on the "Work Keys" test or completion of 48 college credits
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Required references and background check
