Be part of a dynamic team and take your career to new heights! We're seeking a highly skilled Loadmaster to join our remote team, working from the comfort of your own home in the US. As a Loadmaster, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading of cargo on our aircraft.
About the Role:
As a Loadmaster with our airline, you will travel with the aircraft on most flights, acting as our operations agent. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that cargo is properly loaded, stored, and balanced on the aircraft, within safe operating limits. You will also be responsible for supervising station operations, promoting safety, security, and quality, and adhering to industry and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure cargo is properly screened and loaded according to industry and company standards
- Verify accurate weight and balance information is transmitted to the crew
- Supervise station operations, including safety during adverse weather, safe aircraft handling, and cargo handling
- Prepare and review Onload/Offload Control Forms and ensure accuracy
- Promote and support safety, security, and quality as a fundamental function of your role
Requirements:
- U.S. passport holder or have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous airline cargo and ground handling experience preferred
- Accurate mathematical calculations and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to understand laws and regulations applicable to cargo handling
