We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Cornell Health, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our diverse student population. As a key member of our Nursing & Clinical Support Services Department, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to foster lifelong learning and wellbeing through innovative services and strategies.
Responsibilities will include preparing patients for appointments, assisting with procedures and examinations, performing various nursing functions such as administering medications and treatments, and providing patient education and advocacy. Required Qualifications:
- Current New York State LPN license
- Two years of recent experience in ambulatory care/clinic setting
- Experience working with an electronic health record management system
- CPR-BLS level certification required within one year of employment and maintained biannually
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a college health or adolescent setting, or with a diverse patient population
- Proficiency in language(s) in addition to English
